EMFs- Why they are Harmful and Tips for Reducing your EMF Exposure

Updated January 5th, 2026

WHY EMF’S MAY BE DAMAGING YOUR HEALTH IN A NUTSHELL

The issue with EMF radiation is that most people do not feel it, and you cannot see, hear, or smell it. Nevertheless, scientists reassure us that biological impacts are occurring whether you can feel them. For the majority, it just comes down to time and total exposure dose.

It's crucial to understand that this is more than just radiation from your phone. Your health and mind could be seriously harmed by electromagnetic frequencies released by your computer, household appliances, Wi-Fi router, other wireless "smart" devices, and even the wiring inside your walls. It will undoubtedly get much worse with 5G.

A very real threat to society as we know it is the potential for a significant section of the population to be unable to work or live as free persons because of constant, high exposure to electromagnetic fields. There are very few EMF-free areas remaining on Earth, and as 5G is deployed worldwide, these areas will continue to get smaller.

PRACTICAL METHODS TO REDUCE EMF EXPOSURE

  1. Aires Wearable Device - Wear an Aires wearable protection device to mediate negative EMF exposure. This link will give you the deepest discount on all Aires devices.

  2. EMF Protective Clothing– A line of clothing for men, women, and children, designed to reduce EMF exposure.

  3. Faraday Bags/Cages – Faraday products can be purchased for cell phones, routers, and other electric devices to reduce EMF exposure.

  4. Toss your microwave! Not only do microwaves change the molecular structure of food cooked in it, but they also emit radiation. There are no health benefits from using a microwave. Replace your microwave with a toaster oven and/or heat food on the stove. It takes only a minute or two longer and is a much safer option.

  5. Purchase a cell phone case from either that Defender Shield Phone Cases or Safe Sleeve Phones Cases that reduces EMF emissions from your phone.

  6. Turn off the Blue Tooth on your cell phone as much as possible.

  7. Never wear Blue Tooth earphones as this emits radiation straight to the brain. Old fashioned headphones are recommended or purchase EMF-Radiation Free Ear Buds.

  8. Limit screen time. This not only reduces EMF but improves your mental health!

  9. Do not carry your phone on your body. Place it away in a faraday bag or at the very least keep it out of contact with your body.

  10. Never place a laptop on your lap. Use an EMF laptop shield under the laptop. You can also place an Aires Lifetune Device on your laptop or PC to reduce EMF exposure.

  11. Use a simple timer, (Christmas light timers work great), to shut off the Wi-Fi to your home at night.

  12. Do not use “smart” devices.

  13. Do not use baby monitors.

  14. Use incandescent light bulbs which are better for your eyes, overall health and reduce EMF exposure.

  15. Use Greenwave Filters on electrical outlets to reduce dirty electricity emitted from electrical outlets.

REDUCE EMF EXPOSURE WHILE YOU SLEEP

  1. Place your bed by a wall where there are no electrical outlets. You can test for EMF frequencies to determine the best place for your bed.

  2. Shut off your cell phone at night. If this is not feasible, put your cell phone in airplane and place it in a faraday bag while you sleep.

  3. Remove as many electrical devices as possible from your bedroom, especially televisions. If you have electrical devices in your bedroom keep them at least three feet away from your bed.

  4. Aires Devices - Wear an Aires EMF Protective Device while you sleep. I wear my Aires device 24/7! This link will give you the deepest discount on all Aires devices.

  5. EMF Rocks - Some find that placing these EMF rocks by their bed improves sleep.

EMF METERS FOR MEASURING EMF’S

My favorite tool for measuring EMF’s and radiation is the Trimeter. This link will give you many options for detecting and measuring EMF’s and radiation.
